The Jura J5 is a super automatic espresso machine, designed with silver panels, chrome accents, and black side panels. It offers Ceramic Valve Technology to shorten the travel time from process to cup, and a pre-infusion cycle to moisten the beans for maximum flavor.  With 4 programmable beverage buttons, an adjustable conical burr grinder, and its stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler, the J5 is always ready for brewing or steaming espressos, cappuccinos, lattes and more! 

Easy to use controls:

• Trendy red LCD backlit digital display on the front panel gives you step by step instructions for making espresso.  
• Illuminated brew area;
• 6 beverage buttons and up to 11 programmable settings;
• Large dial in the center helps you navigate the settings and programming;
• Programming button gives you flexibility to:
  • Program when you want it to go on or off;
  • Select 4 coffee strengths, 2 temperatures, aroma and size, in ½ oz. increments from 1 to 8 oz., per cup;
  • Use preset amounts, or manually override to customize to your own tastes;
  • Switch easily between the espresso or coffee options;
  • Dispense unlimited hot water and steam;
  • Select the display in any of 7 languages.

Integrated Grinder

• Insulated stainless steel conical burr grinder for quiet, precise grinding;
• Grinder offers 6 grind settings;
• Grinder adjustment knob is in the bean hopper;
• Bypass doser allows you to pour pre-ground coffee into a special funnel to use different beans than those already in the bean hopper;
• 9 oz. capacity for whole beans in the covered bean hopper.

Dual Frothing and Steaming Systems: 

• 15 seconds from ‘start’ to steam;
• Stainless steel frothing arm;
• Three settings for hot water;
• Dual Frother Plus offers a manual steam wand that is used in the UP position steamed milk, and Down for frothed milk;
• When display says: ‘Ready,’ place the steam wand into a pitcher of cold milk, and either use the preset 20 second timer, or select the amount of time you want to steam, from 3 seconds to 2 minutes;
• Dual Frother Plus steam arm will also dispense up to 15 oz. of hot water for tea, coffee Americano, hot chocolate and even instant soups;
• Easily remove the Dual Frother and attach the Froth Express;
• Froth Express has a built-in milk hose and nozzle that pulls milk from any external container and dispenses it directly into your cup.
• Use Froth or Steam selector to get steamed milk or frothed milk;
